إن الكَتُبَ عن العظماء، ووضعَ تأريخهم على صفحات الوجود، وجَمْعَ مواهبهم وتقديمَها لأهل الحق، شيءٌ يصعب على الذات المتصدِّرة، إذا لم تَعْهَدْ من ذاك المترجَم أيَّ بارقة تنطلق بسببها إلى المقصود.
وقد رأينا مَنْ ترجم أمثالَ السيد المترجَم، فوجدنا نقصاً في الغاية، وخَرْقَاً في النهاية، أوجدت خللاً لم يسده أيُّ متصدِّرٍ أو مُحِبٍّ ذهب بالعاطفة إلى المقصِد.
ولم يبق لنا في هذا المَيْدان: إلا رجلٌ عرف ذات السيد المترجَم، ورأى حاله، وشاهد طوره، وشهد عرفانه، ونظر بشاراته، وترقب إشارتِه، وشمَّ صدق وُجْدانه، وأيقن إخلاصه، ووقف على عَيْلَم، وبحرِ فيضه، وسَعَةِ فهمه، وقوةِ تمكينه، وشدَّةِ ملاحظته، وكثرةِ نوره، وهو السيد المهدي بهاء الدين الرواس.
وذاك الرجل إن تصدر إلى الواحدة منها، فسوف يبقى في بحرها ما شاء الله له أنه يبقى، وإن أطلق للقلم العِنان، فسيُخرِج من ذاك البحر كنوزاً كثيرة، يطول على المتصدِّر زمنُ جمعها، ويظهر لملتقِط دُرَرِها شدَّةُ لمعانها وبريقِها، فيحتار لذلك، وتأخذه الحَيْرة من حال إلى حال، وتتمكن فيه الغَيْرة لكلٍّ منها، ويقف!!.
