ونظراً للأهمية الكبرى التي بدأت تحتلها وسائل الإعلام في عالمنا اليوم قامت بعض العلوم الأخرى بالإستفادة من هذه الوسائل الإعلامية المتعددة وذالك لتحقيق الهدف المطلوب، ولذلك نجد أنواع متعددة من الإعلام مثل الإعلام الديني والإعلام السياسي والإعلام العسكري والإعلام الرياضي والإعلام التربوي وغيرها من الأنواع الأخرى.
ولعل من أبرز العلوم التي بدأت تستفيد من وسائل الإعلام الحديثة هي العلوم التربوية، فنجد اليوم أن الكثير من العلوم التربوية بدأت تستفيد من أهمية وسائل الإعلام ذلك عن طريق بث ونشر علومها عبر هذه الوسائل الإعلامية سواء كانت هذه الوسائل مقروءة أو مسموعة.
