إن المقصود بأهل البيت الإمام علي وفاطمة والحسن والحسين والأئمة من ذرية الحسين، والمقصود بمدرسة أهل البيت عليهم السلام هو ذلك الصرح العلمي والمنهجي الشامخ الذي أشاده أئمة أهل البيت عليهم السلام على أساس الكتاب والسنة، وتوارثوه ابن عن أب عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم. وذلك ما يوضحه قول الإمام الصادق عليه السلام: حديثي حديث أبي، وحديث أبي حديث جدي، وحديث جدي، وحديث جدي حديث أبيه، وحديث أبيه، وحديثه أبيه حديث علي بن أبي طالب، وحديث علي حديث رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وحديث رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قول الله عز ولج".
وهكذا فإن الأساس الذي بنى عليه أئمة أهل البيت عليهم السلام العلوم والمعارف الإسلامية التي أفاضوها هو الكتاب والسنة النبوية المطهرة. وهكذا نفهم أيضاً أن الكتاب العزيز هو المصدر الأول في علوم ومعارف هذه المدرسة العلمية الخالدة. وكما هو واضح فهم الكتاب واستنباط منه استنباطاً تعبيراً عما يحوي الكتاب من علم واقعي يحتاج إلى إحاطة كاملة وسلامة منهج، لذا كان من جملة ما أفاضه أئمة أهل البيت عليهم السلام من علم ومعرفة هو علم التفسير والتأويل، ومنهج فهم القرآن.
وجدير ذكره أن أئمة أهل البيت عليهم السلام قد أسسوا منهج فهم القرآن على أساس من القرآن ذاته، وحيث تعددت مناهج الفهم ومذاهب الاستفادة والاستنباط من القرى، بعد رحيل الرسول الأكرم محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم تصدي أئمة أهل البيت عليهم السلام، ومن لدن علي، وحتى أخرهم لمهمة تفسير القرآن وبيان ما فيه من فقه علوم ومعارف.
وفي هذا الكتاب ":القرآن في مدرسة أهل البيت عليهم السلام" محاولة فكرية للتعريف بالمنهج الذي استوحاه العلماء من علوم ومعارف أهل البيت عليهم السلام في فهم القرآن والاستفادة منه، وقد حاول ذلك عبر إتباعه للمنهج العلمي في عرض الآراء والتعريف بوجهات النظر المتعددة حول قضايا القرآن وطريقة فهمه.
