لربما تأخرت بالكتابة، ولذلك أسباب، ونواه، ولعلّ من أعظم هذه الأسباب أنني أشعر - حقيقة – بقصور لغتي عمّا تنزع إليه نفسي في تصويره، أو ربّما على العكس من ذلك، أخشى ان تثور اللغة، فتخرج عن حدود المعقول إلى الّلامحدود في المسافة الفاصلة بين اللّغة، وبين ما في النفس من صرخات مجروحة بالإجرام القرمزيّ.
ولأجل ما أسفلت، ها أنا أعيد الصّياغة:
اشتعلت الثّورة الشّامية، ثورة الياسمين، فصرخ جنين الحرية من أعماق مشيمة الظلم، أيقظته أنوار الفجر الأولى، فخرج مارداً جبّاراً، ومزَق بيديه غشاوة، كانت تبدو كسدَ صخريّ عظيم بسبب كثافة الظّلام.
وانهار جبل جليد الوهم تحت وطأة شعاع شمس طال برود ليلها، شمس تململت، وكسرت قشرتها، واشرأبّت إلى أبراج سديم الحرّيّة الأخضر.
وانتفض المقاتلون العائدون من "القادسيّة"، وانضمّ إليهم أبطال "نهاوند"، فأضرمت نيران "كالديران"، وتجمّعوا هناك في أرض الشّام.
وهناك على التلّة المشرفة وقف معاوية على رأس الجيش، هذه المرة كان علي معه في قيادة واحدة، وكان خالد هو القائد الميداني، وكان كسرى يسلّم سراقة بين مالك سواريه الذهبيين الأسطوريين، وهناك كان يستلم الحسين بن علي، وعبد الله بن عمر ابنتي كسرى غنيمة حرب من الفاروق عمر بن الخطاب.
