تولى الشيخ محمد صادق محمد الكرباسي في هذا الكتاب الحديث عن المراقد والمقامات التي لها صلة بنهضة الإمام الحسين رضي الله عنه بالتفصيل في موضوع (تاريخ المراقد الجزء الخامس) يتحدث عن مرقد السيدة أم كلثوم بنت علي (عليه السلام) في دمشق، ومرقد حبيب بن مظاهر في كربلاء، والحر بن يزيد الرياحي في كربلاء، وحميدة بنت مسلم في المدينة، ومرقد السيدة خولة في بعلبك، مع ذكر تاريخ إنشاء هذه المراقد وتطور بنائها على مدى القرون السابقة وكل ذلك مع صور وافية عن كل مرقد من هذه المراقد بعد أن يبدأ في الحديث عن الركب الحسيني ومسيره من المدينة إلى مكة إلى كربلاء إلى الكوفة ثم دمشق، ومسير العودة إلى المدينة، مع خرائط رسمت وصممت لهذه الغاية من قبل المركز الحسيني للدراسات، وهي خرائط توضع لأول مرة في هذا المجال، وتفاصيلها ستأتي في السيرة الحسينية.
