والجديد في تناول موضوع الثقافة والشخصية, في هذا المؤلف هو تعريفنا لهذا العلم بأنه ذلك العلم الذي يدرس العلاقة الجدلية والتأثير والتأثر المتبادلين بين الثقافة والشخصية في كل متكامل, أي التأكيد علي تلك العلاقة التفاعلية الدائرية, والمؤثرة والمتأثرة, ما بين الثقافة والشخصية.
ولم تقف المؤلفة في الكتاب موقف التأمل من كتابات غيرها بل كانت لها وجهات نظر جديدة, أتضحت بصفة خاصة في وضع بعض التصنيفات, وصياغة بعض التعريفات, وتناول الكثير من النظريات المتداولة في علم الثقافة والشخصية بالتعليق والند, كما أفرد الكتاب فصلاً كاملاً لنظرية, الدور, تناولت فيه المؤلفة هذه النظرية الهامة, التي تتعلق بميدان الثقافة والشخصية في لبه وأساسه بالتحليل, والنقد, وأيضاً بإضافة تصور جديد إليها.
إن هذا الكتاب في الثقافة الشخصية لا غني عنه, لكل من يريد فهما أحسن للآخر, ولاغني عنه للطالب, والأستاذ والمعني بالعلاقات مع الآخرين, والتعامل مع الجمهور سواء أكان ضابطاً أو موظفاً, مهنياً, أم عاملاً.
