هذا الكتاب يتضمن شرحا لأحكام الأعمال التجارية والتجار والمتجر والعقود التجارية والشركات التجارية والأوراق التجارية التي تدرس لطلبة كليات الإدارة والاقتصاد في الجامعات الأردنية، ويمتاز بأسلوب مبسط ومركز يتسم بالوضوح والابتعاد قدر الإمكان عن المناقشات الفقهية التي تربك الطالب لذا جاء الكتاب موفقا في البداية؛إذا عرف الطالب بالقانون التجاري وخصائصه، والقانون المدني، والعرف التجاري وغير ذلك من المفاهيم. وانتقل بعد ذلك إلى الحديث عن الأعمال التجارية والتجار والمتجر والعقود التجارية، فبين أهمية التميز بين الأعمال التجارية والأعمال المدينة وضوابط النفقة بينها، وحدد معيار العمل التجاري، وبحث في أعمال الصرافة والمبادئ المالية، وعقود التدوير وتطرق إلى التأمين بأنواعه المختلفة، وبين أهمية التميز بين التاجر وغير التاجر، وأنواع الدفاتر التجارية، وعرف بالمتجر ، والقواعد التي تحكمه في الأردن وشرح عقد الرهن التجاري، وإنشاء الرهن المتضمن حيازة المال المرهون وعرض لعقد السمسرة، فعرف به ، وذكر خصائص، وتكوينه، والتزام السمة وغير ذلك ولكي تكتمل عناصر الكتاب، فقد تطرق للشركات التجارية، فبين أهميتها وأشكالها، وخصائص عقد الشركة، وعرض لشركات الأشخاص وشركات الأموال مستفيضا في الحديث عنها، من حيث الخصائص لكليهما وإدارتيهما وغير ذلك وبين كذلك مفهوم الشركة ذات الطبيعة المختلفة، وعدد خصائصها، وحدد مسئوليتها ثم انتقل بالطالب إلى موضوع الأوراق التجارية، فعرف بها، وشرح القواعد التي تحكم الأوراق التجارية في الأردن، وعرف بسند الشيك، فصل في هذا الأخير مبرزاً أهميته، وتنظيمه القانوني وإنشائه وشروطه الشكلية وغير ذلك مما لاغني للطالب عنه في فهم هذا الموضوع.
