هذا الكتاب يتضمن دروساً -في الأعمال التجارية والتجار والمتجر والشركات التجارية، والأوراق التجارية-كتبت بتكليف من قسم القانون الخاص في كلية الحقوق لطلبة الجناح العسكري بجامعة مؤتة بعد دمج مساقات القانون التجاري الثلاثة في مساق واحدة يتضمن الأعمال التجارية والتجار والشركات التجارية والأوراق التجارية، وقد راعينا عند كتابتها الوقت المخصص لتدريس هذا المساق وهو فصل دراسي واحد بواقع ثلاث ساعات في الأسبوع. ولذلك كتبت هذه الدروس بأسلوب مبسط ومركز يتسم بالوضوح، ابتعدنا فيه بقدر الإمكان عن المناقشات الفقهية التي تربك الطالب، مكتفين بالإشارة إلى بعض المراجع العربية التي تناولت شرح أحكام المواضيع التي وردت في هذه الدروس ليرجع إليها الطالب إن أراد الإطلاع على التفاصيل في المواضيع التي تناولتها هذه الدروس.
وقد راعينا أيضاً في كتابة هذه الدروس مفردات مساق القانون التجاري الذي يدرس لطلبة كلبات الإدارة والاقتصاد في الجامعات الأردنية ليستفيد منها الطلبة في دراستهم لهذا المساق.
