قلت: فليكن. لعل اللبس الذي زرعه المشعرون المنقدون قد فعل فعله. وما علي سوى اختيار مجموعة قصائد من شعر باشراحيل توضح تمكنه ومقدرته وجماليته. وكان الأمر، في البداية، أن تأليف "المعنى والمضمون"، انصرفت إلى جانب من شعريته تتطابق مع توضيحي الفصل بين المعنى والمضمون، وكانت قصيدة "الكآبة" محور دراستي والتي رأيت فيها أن باشراحيل ارتقى إلى مصاف الشعراء الكبار. ثم أعدت القراءة ووجدت شعره الآخر الجميل وبساطته وتلقائيته فصار من اللازم علي الاختيار من شعره وعدم الاكتفاء بنظرة نقدية. وحدث الأمر!.
