يسرني أن أقدم الحوار الذي أجريته مع الزميل والصديق مصباح وهو، أي الحوار، يُشكّل لُحمة هذا الكتاب وسداه، ولا أجد نفسي بحاجةٍ إلى التعريف بهذه القامة التأمينية، فالقارئ سيجد في متن الكتاب ما يكفي من المعلومات عن سيرتها المُضيئة والمُلهمة.
لقد اخترنا مدخلاً أو عتبةً لهذا الحوار تقول: لا شيء أضر بالعلم من أن يقول اللاحقون إن السابقين لم يتركوا لنا شيئاً.
على هذه الخلفية يمكنني التأكيد على أن الحوار موجّه بشكل رئيس إلى اللاحقين بجيلنا، أعنى جيل الشباب الذي نعتبره مؤتمناً على مستقبل صناعة التأمين العربية.
والكتاب، كما يقول مصباح بتواضع العارف في كلمته التي بها يختتم الحوار، يقدّم وجهات نظر تحتمل الصواب والخطأ.
وهذا القول يضمر أمنيةً بأن يُذكي ما تطرقنا إليه مزيداً من الحوار والنقاش وأن يولد نقداً مضاداً لما ورد في الحوار من وجهات نظر نقدية.
وأنا ومصباح متفقان على أن أن تجاوز الوضع الراهن في صناعتنا وجسر الهوة التي تفصلنا عن الآخر المتفوق تستدعي جهوداً ومساهمات جماعية.
ومن هذا المنطلق، فإننا نرحب بأي نقد قد يوجّه إلى مجهودنا بإعتبار أن النقد هو مساهمة في الجهد الجماعي المرتجى.
