هذا المؤلف ثمرة من ثمرات ممارسة واضعة للقضاء المدني سحابة أربعين عاماً مقرونة بالتدريس الجامعي، مما يعطيه الطابعين الأكاديمي والعملي، اجتهد المؤلف في وضع وتفسير القواعد القانونية فشرحها في ضوء النص والفقه وأعطاها بعدها العملي من خلال تطبيق المحاكم لها، فجاء الفقه مقروناً بالاجتهاد، مما يجعل هذا المؤلف بمتناول الطالب والدارس والباحث والممارس على حد سواء.
ركز المؤلف دراسته في الجزء الأول على عرض للنظرية العامة للموجبات المدنية ومن ثم انتقل إلى دراسة العقد كمصدر من مصادر هذه الموجبات فتناوله منذ المرحلة التمهيدية مروراً بالمفاوضات ومن ثم بالخطوات المؤدية إلى إبرامه, بعدها تناول المؤلف أركان العقد وشروط صحة إبرامه والعيوب التي يمكن أن تطرأ على تكوينه وأثرها والأحوال التي يمكن فيها إبطال العقد أو فسخه، كما قام بدراسة تنفيذ العقد وما يمكن فيها إبطال العقد أو فسخه، كما قام بدراسة تنفيذ العقد وما يمكن أن يعترضه من عقبات وكيفية تجاوزها مروراً بنظرية الظروف الطارئة ومنهياً إلى الرقابة القضائية على العقد.
لا شك في أن الباحث والدارس سيجدان الأجوبة المناسبة على المسائل التي يمكن أن يثيرها إبرام وتنفيذ العقد مؤيدة بالآراء الفقهية والاجتهادية الحديثة.
أما الجزء الثاني من هذا المؤلف في القانون المدني فسيتناول المسؤولية المدنية بكافة فروعها، أكانت مسؤولية عقدية أن تقصيرية أم وضعية أم عن فعل الغير.
