في هذه المجموعة الشعرية الجديدة، ثمة "ذات" تلد نفسها في ماء العالم، وتغرف منه، وتتشربه بلغة متأنية تذكرك بمادتها الحية ووجودها المحض قبل أن تذكرك بوظيفتها النصية.
والولادة هنا ليست انفصالاً عن العالم، بل هي انبثاق فيه، ولذا فإن الموت ليس نقيضاً بل هو امتدادها وتتمتها: (ولدنا من ضربة شمس) (الشهداء في الألبوم.. كأنهم سقطوا بضربة شمس). هكذا تشتبك الولادة والموت سببياً، ومثل هذا الاشتباك لا يخصّ "ذاتاً" منفصلة متعالية عن العالم، بل يخص "ذات" العالم نفسها.
وثمة أيضاً غضب نستطيع لمسه في الإيقاع والتخييل والدلالة، لكنه غضب أقرب إلى غضب الطبيعة الخلاقة، الذي ينقذ الوجود من سكونيته ويشحنه ويجعله أكثر خصوبة وعمقاً.
ذلك هو ما يجعل نص زكريا محمد نصاً استغراقياً حاراً ينتمي إلى ما يشبه منطق الطبيعة ولغتها وإيقاعها، ويجمع بين عمق التأمل ورهافة الرؤية في آن.
