تشكل رواية «ضربة شمس: سيرة المملوك الضائع الأمير حسن المصري» علامةً على اختراقٍ أنجزه كاتب عدل صور "صخر عرب" في مسيرته التطورية ككاتب روائي، ومؤرخ حذر، يعيد محاكاة تاريخ مصر وبلاد الشام ووقائع حرب الجبل في لبنان منذ العصر المملوكي وصولاً إلى العصر الحديث. وفي هذا العمل يبني الروائي صخر عرب عمارته الروائية على سيرة (مخطوطة) كُتبت في بداية القرن الرابع عشر الميلادي، تشكل رواية «ضربة شمس: سيرة المملوك الضائع الأمير حسن المصري» علامةً على اختراقٍ أنجزه كاتب عدل صور "صخر عرب" في مسيرته التطورية ككاتب روائي، ومؤرخ حذر، يعيد محاكاة تاريخ مصر وبلاد الشام ووقائع حرب الجبل في لبنان منذ العصر المملوكي وصولاً إلى العصر الحديث. وفي هذا العمل يبني الروائي صخر عرب عمارته الروائية على سيرة (مخطوطة) كُتبت في بداية القرن الرابع عشر الميلادي، بتكليف من السلطان الناصر محمد بن قلاوون، تاسع ملوك التُرك المماليك على مصر والشام، لما أمر في ديوانه بقصر القلعة بالقاهرة، بكتابة سيرة فتى عربي جيء به من إحدى كفور صعيد مصر يدعى حسن الكفراوي كان له شأنٌ عظيمٌ في الجيش والإدارة على عهد المماليك، وأن يُستَقْصَى عنه كل التفاصيل والأخبار، وكلف كاتباً م
