اعتبرنا في هذا الكتاب "الشخصيّة" محور السرد النسوي، فقد انتقلت الحبكة إليها لرصد تحولاتها، عوض التركيز على "الحدث"، والذي شكل محور التقليد الأرسطي، وقد كان لهذا أثر كبير على الرؤية السردية التي هيمن فيها ضمير الأنا هيمنة مطلقة؛ ومن هنا يتلازم التبئير مع الحبكة من حيث تمحورهما حول الشخصية.
وحيث إن الشخصيات الرئيسية في السرد النسوي هي في الغالب من النساء، فقد انعكس هذا على مضامين الحكي التي اهتمت بقضايا المرأة، وكرست رؤيا خاصة للكاتبات من خلال بطلاتهن، وقد عبرنا عن المأزق الوجودي والإجتماعي الذي عبر عنه هذا السرد بــ "أزمة ميديا"، مستلهمين هذا المصطلح من مسرحية "ميديا"، للكاتب المسرحي القديم "يوريبيديس"، وتتمحور حول معاناة المرأة من الخيانة الزوجية، وسعيها للإنتقام من الزوج الغادر؛ كما كان لهذا التمحور حول الشخصية، أثر كبير في إهتمام السرد النسوي بالجسد، حيث إحتفاء البطلات / النساء بأجسادهن، يؤكد الإعلاء من حضور الذات.
وحيث إن هذا التغيير الذي أحدثته الكاتبات / النساء، في السرد لا يمكن أن نجرده من تنامي الوعي لدى هؤلاء الكاتبات بآليات الكتابة وإبدالاتها الجمالية والإبداعية، فقد خصصنا الفصل الخامس والأخير من هذا الكتاب لــ "ما وراء القص في السرد النسوي العربي"، مستلهمين من بعض النماذج السردية، مدى إحتفاء الكاتبات العربيات بقضايا جمالية وإبداعية إشكالية تتعلق، بقضايا الإبداع، والكتابة، والتلقي.
فضلاً عن التناص التاريخي الساخر، وبهذا تكتمل الرؤيا في السرد النسوي تصوراً جمالياً ومضموناً وخطاباً نقدياً.
