كلنا يجمع أن القرآن الكريم هو النبع الذي يرتوي منه طلاب العلم، وهو الخطاب الرباني المعجز الذي يزيدنا علماً ويقيناً كلما تعمقنا فيه فكراً ودلالة. فكان للدكتور "محمد نور الدين المنجد" هذا الشرف، شرف خدمة كتاب الله ولغته بكتاب يصفه بين أيدينا، "استجلى به جانباً من الإغجاز في دلالة الخطاب القرآني على عدة معان محتملة في تركيب لغوي واحد، يتسع فيه التأويل بحسب ما تحتمل علاقاته النحوية، وصيغه الصرفية، ودلالة ألفاظه. وبلاغة بيانه وسبكه.. إنه الخطاب الرباني الذي لا يأتيه الباطل من بين يديه ولا من خلفه تنزيل من حكيم حميد".
إن الشيء الهام في بحث (اتساع الدلالة في الخطاب القرآني) أن الإتساع هو نمط من الأفادة وشكل تعبيري متميز يجعل المتلقي متحرراً من كل القيود، وينطلق في أفق عريض من الفهم والتأويلات، ويسبح في فيض زاخر من الدلالات.
وللإحاطة بموضوع الدراسة أكثر يقسم الكاتب بحثه إلى مقدمة وأربعة فصول وخاتمة، بحث في المقدمة مفهوم الإتساع، لغة واصطلاحاً وتتبع دلالته عند علماء القراءات القرآيلة وفي علوم اللغة العربية، ثم تناول في الفصل الأول الأسباب النحوية التي تجعل الخطاب يحتمل عدة معانٍ مجتمعة أو متفرقة.. ويناقش في الفصل الثاني الأسباب الصرفية لاتساع الدلالة في الخطاب، وخصص الفصل الثالث للأسباب اللغوية وجاءت في قسمين الأول لحروف المعاني، والثاني جعله لتعدد دلالة الألفاظ من أسماء، وأفعال ويأتي الفصل الرابع والخير ليدرس الأسباب البلاغية المؤدية إلى اتساع الدلالة، وأخيراً خاتمة الدراسة يلخص فيها الباحث ما ورد مفصلاً في تضاعيف هذه الرسالة وفصولها.
جمع هذا الكتاب مادة وافرة كانت متناثرة في كتب اللغة والنحو والصرف والبلاغة والفقه والتفاسير، ليثبت خاصية الخطاب العربي في اتساعه لمعان عديدة بألفاظ قليلة... يتسع فيه التأويل على قدر قوى الناظر فيه، وبحسب ما تحتمل ألفاظه، بحيث لو اختل التركيب لضاعت تلك المعاني.
