Book Description
أثنى الله تبارك وتعالى على التوابين من عباده في محكم كتابه فقال: "إن الله يحب التوابين ويحب المتطهرين". وصح عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "لما أهبط الله عز وجل إبليس عليه اللعنة قال: بعزتك إني لا أفارق ابن آدم حتى تفارق روحه جسده، فقال الرب تبارك وتعالى: وعزتي وعظمتي لا أحجب التوبة عن عبدي حتى يغرغر بها".
وقيل لبعض السلف: هل للتائب علامة يعرف أنه قبلت توبته؟ قال: نعم، علامته أربعة أشياء: أولها: أن ينقطع عن أصحاب السوء. الثاني: أن يكون منقطعاً من كل ذنب، ومقبلاً على جميع الطاعات. الثالث: أن يذهب عنه فرح الدنيا كلها، من قلبه، ويرى حزن الآخرة كلها دائماً في قلبه. الرابع: أن يرى نفسه فارغاً عما ضمن الله تعالى من الرزق مشتغلاً بما أمر الله به. فإذا وجدت فيه هذه العلامات فهو من الذين قال الله تعالى فيهم: "إن الله يحب التوابين ويحب المتطهرين". ووجب له على الناس أربعة أشياء: أولها: أن يحبوه، فإن الله تعالى قد أحبه. الثاني: أن يحفظوه بالدعاء على أن يثبته الله على التوبة. الثالث: أن لا يعيروه بما سلف من ذنوبه. الرابع: أن يجالسوه ويذاكروه ويعينوه.
والواجب على كل إنسان أن يتوب إلى الله تعالى في كل وقت، حتى يأتيه الموت وهو تائب، لأن الله تبارك وتعالى يتجاوز عن سيئات العبد إذا تاب ورجع إليه.
والتوبة: أن يندم على ذنبه بالقلب، ويستغفر من ذنبه بلسانه، ويضمر على أن لا يعود إليه أبداً.
وفي حديث رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قال: (لو أخطأ أحدكم حتى ملأ ما بين السماء والأرض ثم تاب تاب الله عليه. ومع التوبة والتائبين، ومع أخبار وقصص التائبين ونوادرهم نعيش هذه الصفحات عبر كتاب "التوابين" للحافظ ابن قدامه المقدسي.
