اليسار اليمني: ظالم أم مظلوم؟
كثيرة هي الأحداث والمتغيرات التي شهدتها الساحتان اليمنية والدولية خلال العقد الأخير من القرن الماضي والعقد الأول من القرن الجديد، سقطت أنظمة وانهارت جدران، واختفت تجارب، وتلاشت نظريات، وتغيرت الكثير من المفاهيم والقيم، وتراجع كثيرون عن آراء كانو يطرحونها وعن ايديولوجيات كانوا يؤمنون بها، توحَد الوطن اليمني وأصبحت حرية العمل السياسي العلني والتعددية الحزبية والإعلامية والحق في الإختلاف في الرأي والجهز به، على الأقل في الجانب النظري، من أهم إنجازات الوحدة وأروع ما حققه الإنسان اليمني في هذا العصر.
غير أن هذا الإنجاز الحضاري والسلمي تعرض للإجهاض عندما أقدم نظام صالح، الذي لم يكن صالحاً في شيء،على اغتيال عدد من قادة الحزب الإشتراكي وكوادره، تلى ذلك إشعاله للحرب العبثية التي أدَت إلى تحطيم الوحدة الطوعية وحوَلت الكثير من أنصارها إلى دعاة للإنفصال بين جنوب الوطن وشماله، ومع إطلالة العقد الثاني من هذا القرن الجديد، جاء الربيع اليمني ليعيد الأمل في الوحدة ويضيف إنجازاً جديداً إلى ما حققه الإنسان اليمني ليعيد الأمل في الوحدة ويضيف إنجازاً جديداً إلى ما حققه الإنسان اليمني في نضاله الدائم من أجل الحرية والعدالة والديمقراطية والتداول السلمي للسلطة. وبذلك اندثر حلم توريث الحكم، وبدأ تفكيك النظام العائلي الحاكم. وخلال هذه المسيرة النضالية الطويلة، كانت الحركة التقدمية اليمنية عموماً وقوى اليسار خصوصاً في طليعة الجماهير في مقاومتها لأنظمة الحكم الظلامية والقمعية، وبرهن اليسار اليمني أنه كان رائداً في كثير من الإنجازات الوطنية الكبرى، إضافة إلى تمكنه من تطوير بنيانه التنظيمي ورؤاه السياسية والفكرية، وأكثر تحديداً لأهدافه المرحلية والإستراتيجية لتتناسب وتطورات العصر ومتطلبات القرن الواحد والعشرين، كما نرى في صفحات هذا الكتاب.
