عماد حمدي (24 نوفمبر 1909 - 28 يناير 1984)، ممثل مصري.
عن حياته
ولد في سوهاج،وكان له أخ توام اسمه عبد الرحمن حيث كان والده يعمل هناك موظفاً، لقب بفتى الشاشة الأول. قام ببطولة العديد من الأفلام الهامة في السينما المصرية منها ""خان الخليلي" و"ميرامار" و"ثرثرة فوق النيل" لنجيب محفوظ. وقد توفى توأمه عبد الرحمن قبل أخيه عماد مما أثر على نفسية عماد حمدي تأثيراً كبيراً وترتب على ذلك عزلة عماد حمدي في بيته حتى تدهورت حالته الصحية وأصابته بالعمى التام في سنوات حياته الأخيرة
تزوج من الراقصة حورية محمد ثم من الفنانة فتحية شريف وأنجب منها ابناً اسمه نادر، ثم من الفنانة شادية ثم الفنانة نادية الجندي وأنجب منها هشام، وكان آخر اعماله فيلم سواق الاوتوبيس سنة 1982 ثم فيلم النشالة مع محمود ياسين ونيللي سنة 1984 ومن اخراج حلمي رفلة
وفاته
توفي عماد حمدي في يوم السبت 28 يناير عام 1984 وحيداً في منزله عن عمرٍ ناهز ال74 عام على إثر أزمة قلبية حادة جداً بعد رحلة طويلة للغاية مع العمى التام والاكتئاب المزمن.

إن قصتي هذه ليست بعيدة عن الواقع، وليست من وحي خيال كاتب، لكنها تعبر عن سلوكيات وأخلاقيات وجدت في مجتمعنا كنتاج طبيعي لعصر فاسد عاشته مصر أعوامًا طويلة، فبعض شخصيات هذه القصة كانوا يستمدون سطوتهم وقوتهم من ذلك النظام الفاسد، الذي كان يحكم بلادنا بالعصا والسيف، مما أدى إلى ظهور بعض التصرفات والسلوكيات الغريبة على مجتمعنا، والتي أثرت بشكل سلبي على المجتمع، وجعلت معظم الأخلاقيات تندثر ويصبح لا وجود لها. فأنا أدعوكم إلى قراءة هذه القصة لكي نضع سلبيات مجتمعنا الماضي أمامنا لتكون دروسًا تجعلنا نرسم لبلادنا مستقبل جديد بعيدًا عن الظلم والفساد، مع العلم أن شخصية أحمد بوستة حقيقية وما زالت خلف القضبان تستكمل مسيرة الظلم حتى الآن. وإلى اللقاء في الجزء الثاني من القصة لنرى ماذا سيحدث لأبطالها في ظل عصر جديد.
