تحت عنوان "نوافذ نائمة" جمعت مهديّة رابح دهماني في (مختارات في الشعر الفرنسي) ونقلتها إلى العربية، وكما تشير المترجمة فقد جاء اختيارها النصوص والشعراء مبنياً على التسلسل التاريخي للمراحل البارزة للشعر الفرنسي، من عصر النهضة، ولنماذج من شعراء الكوكبة، فشعراء الرمزية والرومانسية، إلى الشعر السريالي والقصيدة المغناة حدثياً.
كما اعتمدت المترجمة الدقة في اختيار مواضيع النصوص، بحيث حاولت كما هو واضح في الكتاب تقديم باقةٍ من التنوع الذي يطبعُ خصوصية الشعر الفرنسي في الجوهر والمغزى والرمزية.
وأما عن الشعراء الذين تُرجم لهم فهم: بيير دو رونسار وبينتيز دوتيار وآن ماري لوبول وفيكتور هيغو ولو كونت دو ليزل وألفونس لامارتينه وتيوفيل فوتيي وآرتور رامبو وهنري باتاي وشارل بودلير وشارل جيران وبول فاليري وغيوم أبو لينير وعيوم أبو لونير ولوي أراغون وبيير ريفردي (...) وآخرون.
