يتناول هذا الملف مجموعة من المقالات المنتخبة لكتاب على قدر كبير من العمق والأهمية، ينتمون إلى شعوب متباينة ثقافياً ودينياً. إلا أن ما يجمع رؤيتهم إلى أهمية الدين كأساس ومنطلق لتحرير الشعوب المضطهدة والمستضعفة أكان ذلك في أميركا الجنوبية والوسطى، أفريقيا وفي العالم الإسلامي بمشرقه ومغربه.
هذا الحقل من الدراسة، وإن لم يكن وليد أوضاع فكرية وسياسية راهنة فهو يركز اهتمامه على مسألتين: أولاً: مواجهة الظالمين أكانوا يحكمون باسم الدين أو باسم أيديولوجيات أخرى، على أساس أن الظلم واحد أياً كان فاعله. ثانياً: أصالة الدين في الإنسانية وهو أتى ليحل العدالة والتوازن في العلاقة بين كافة الطبقات والشعوب بحيث لا تغطي فئة على أخرى، فالمسيحيون الذين يعانون من ظلم المستكبرين في البلدان المسيحية يجب أن يغوصوا عميقاً في ماهية الدين من أجل حريتهم وكذلك المسلمين الذين فقدوا حريتهم واستقلالهم وتطورهم نتيجة تضافر سياسات داخلية وخارجية، الآراء الواردة في هذا الملف تلقي الضوء على قضية ابتدأت منذ خمسينات القرن الماضي مع غوتييرز في (ليما-البيرو) و(بون-البرازيل) ومع الشهيد الصدر في العراق والشهيد مطهري في إيران، لا بل مع عبد الرحمن بن باديس في المغرب العربي، وهي أصالة الحرية والعدالة في الدين ومنه يمكن الانطلاق نحو بناء مجتمع المساواة.
والمركز الاستشاري للدراسات والتوثيق بإصداره هذا الملف إنما يسعى لاطلاع القارئ العربي على أهم الآراء الحديثة والنظريات المستجدة للإنسانية في طريقها نحو الحرية والعدالة والاستقلال.
