وفي هذا السياق يسلّط السيد علي الكوراني العاملي الضوء على حركة (أحمد إسماعيل كويطع) المسمي نفسه: الإمام الحسن، والذي ينعته بـ (دجّال البصرة) وهو المدعو أحمد الحسن، الذي زعم أنه اليماني الموعود، ثم سفير الإمام المهدي، ثم ادعى أنه إبن المهدي، وثار على الحكومة في البصرة فقتل من الشرطة والناس نحو خمسين ... وهرب إلى الإمارات ...
وفي هذا الكتاب أيضاً يدافع المؤلف عن عقيدة المهدي المنتظر ويفصح حركات الدجالين الذين ادعوا المهدية، وبذلك أساؤوا إلى جوهر عقيدة المهدي، ومثله مثل معظم علماء الشيعة فقد تصدى لهذه الظاهرة وكتب فيها، وفنّد كل حركة وكل متزعم لها، ومن يقف خلفه من دول ومنظمات لا تمت إلى جوهر الإسلام بصلة ...
