نقدم، لزملائنا رجال القانون، الطبعة الثالثة من مؤلفنا "قانون العمل"، الذى نفدت الطبعة الثانية منه، بعد وقت قصير من ظهورها، منذ نيف وعشرين سنة، شهدت، في نطاق القانون الاجتماعي، تطورات هائلة، في الفكر الاجتماعى، ظهرت آثارها واضحة في التشريع، وفي الفقه والقضاء.
وقد أوجزنا، في الكتاب الأول منه، الذي خصنناه لعلاقات العمل الفردية، ما فصلناه في مؤلفنا "عقد العمل" الذي ظهر منذ عدة أشهر، وأغفلنا، أساساً، الإشارة، إلي المراجع، ليجدها القارئ في هذا المؤلف الأخير، كما أسقطنا منه كل ما يتعلق بنظام العاملين في القطاع العام، حتي يصدق علي المؤلف. أما الكتاب الثاني، الذي كرسناه لعلاقات العمل الجماعية، فقد أعدنا فيه عرض الموضوعات التي تضمنها الطبعة الثانية، وفقاً للقوانين الجديدة، وما إنتهى إليه، في شأنها، الفقه والقضاء، مع الإشارة إلي المراجع، ليستطيع القارئ الذي يريد الاستزادة، الحصول في يسر علي ما يريده.
