حظي النص الشعري القديم ولازال كبير من القارئ المعاصر، إذ يكشف الوقوف على الدراسات العربية المعاصرة، عن أن ذلك النص تمتّع بحضور مميّز فيها. ولم يقتصر ذلك على النصوص الشعرية المشهورة كالمعلقات وغيرها، التي استحوذت على النصيب الأكبر من اهتمام القارئ، وإنما تجاوز ذلك إلى غيرها من النصوص. وقد كانت قراءة ذلك النصص تتم – غالباً – من خلال استدعائه في سياق موضوعاتي معين. غير أنها لم تقتصر على هذا الإطار، وأنما كانت هناك قراءات تقتصر على مواجهة النصوص مباشرة، لا سيما في ظل سعي بعض القراء المعاصرين إلى الاستفادة من المناهج الحديثة في مقاربة النصّ.
وما من شك في أن التعامل مع هذا النص - مثل غيره من النصوص في كل زمان ومكان – يثير عددا من الأسئلة، التي تحيل إلى بعض القضايا حول عملية القراءة، ما يستدعي الوقوف عندها ومقاربتها.
وسأقف في هذا الكتاب على عدد من هذه القضايا التي تواجه القارئ للنص الشعري القديم.
وهذه القضايا ليست استنتاجات نظرية فحسب، وإنما جاءت من خلال استقراء بعض تجارب القراء المعاصرين الذين تعاملوا مع النص الشعري القديم، هذا أولاً. وثانيا من خلال تجربتي الذاتية في قراءة النصوص.
ويتشكّل هذا الكتاب من أربعة مباحث، يعالج كل منها إحدى القضايا التي تثيرها قراءة النص.
أما المبحث الأول، فتناولت فيه (النص ومشكلة التوثيق).
وأما المبحث الثاني، فتناولت فيه (النص وفعالية الخبر).
وأما المبحث الثالث فكان حول (النص وحدود التأويل).
وأما المبحث الرابع، فوقفت فيه على قضية (النص وتداخل الأجناس).
