تهدف هذه الدّراسة إلى الكشف عن طبيعة العلاقة الجدليّة بين سلطة الخطاب وسلطة الدولة، ودور كلّ منهما في إنتاج الآخر وترسيخ دعائم سلطته على أرض الواقع التاريخي في تاريخ الحضارة الإسلامية، ما حتّم علينا تناول ثنائية: خطاب المجتمع ومجتمع الخطاب، ومن ثمّ، ثنائية: دولة المجتمع (بوصفها دولة السّياسة) ويوتوبية الدولة في تاريخ الحضارة الإسلامية، بدءاً من عصر الإسلام ونزول القرآن، وانتهاءً بواقعنا المعاصر.
وقد تمّ تناول هذه الجدليّة بوصفها إحدى أهمّ ملامح أزمة الخطاب العربيّ في مراحله المختلفة، هذا الخطاب الذي لم يتمكن حتى هذه اللحظة من صياغة وعيه بالدولة أو مقاربة مفهومها وفق معطيات الواقع العربيّ في حضوره المتعيّن في لحظته الراهنة، بل بقي يراوح مكانه باحثاً عن أنموذج جاهز للدولة؛ فيما سلف من أنموذجات، وبما يؤكّد أنه قد بقي يصوغ وعيه بالدولة وفق معطيات فكرية ثقافية مستمدّة-في جملتها-من ثقافة الذاكرة التي نجد مرجعها في قديم ما عندنا أو في جديد الآخر وما أنجزه من مشاريع حديثة للدّولة تنسجم مع معطيات واقعه التاريخي الحيّ، في حضوره الماثل، ما جعل خطابنا العربي خطاباً تابعاً لذلك الخطاب المؤسس لمفهوم الدولة ومستلباً بشروطه.
