يتناول هذا الكتاب زواج المسيار الذي تعارف عليه الناس في المملكة العربية السعودية كنوع من الزواج الشرعي حسب فتوى المجمع الفقهي بمكة المكرمة، لأنه يتم بإيجاب وقبول مع الالتزام بالشروط الشرعية، لكنه يختلف عن الزواج العادي بأن الزوجة فيه تتنازل عن حقها في المسكن والنفقة، وترضي أن يأتيها زوجها إلي بيتها وقتما شاء بقصد المعاشرة ثم ينصرف لحال سبيله ، كما تتنازل عن حقها بالعدل بينها وبين الزوجة الأولي، ويسمح للرجل في هذا الزواج أن لا يخبر زوجته الأولي بأنه متزوج من ثانية، وهو أمر غير مشكور، ويعتبر من الغدر، وقد سمي بهذا الاسم لأن الرجل هو الذي يسير إلي امرأته، ومن العجيب أن تصدر هذه الفتوى في بلد يتمتع مواطنوه بسعة ورغد من العيش يتمكن فيه أدني المواطنين دخلا من توفير المسكن والنفقة لزوجه، ومن العجيب أيضا أن يستفيد بهذه الفتوى الأغنياء لدرجة أن أحدهم تزوج زواجا مسياريا بثلاث نساء، والأمر المدهش أن تصدر الفتوى بعد عشر سنوات من شيوع هذا الزواج بالمملكة فلماذا لم تصدر في حينه، وإذا كان زواجا شرعيا فعلا فلما الحاجة إلي الفتوى؟!
