الزواج ما هو إلا مسرحية طويلة تمثل أدوارها اليومية على مسرح الحياة الزوجية منها أدوار حزينة ومنها أدوار مفرحة يؤديها الزوجان في حياتهما الزوجية اليومية.
تتألف هذه المسرحية من فصلين: الفصل الأول: فترة الحب والخطبة: إن الأمنية الأولى لكل فتاة هي (الزواج) لذلك إنها تهتم بنفسها كثيراً فتتزين وتتبرج لتوقع الرجل في حبائل حبها فتجذبه بجمالها وزينتها ومظهرها الخارجي البراق.
الفصل الثاني: في الحياة الزوجية: ربما كان أهم دور تقوم به المرأة في حياتها الزوجية وهو ما تهمله أغلب النساء للأسف، هو أن تكون (زوجة معشوقة)، أنه الدور الذي يجب أن تقوم به المرأة والذي يكمل دور الرجل في الحياة.
إن دور المرأة في الحياة الزوجية هو أن تكون رقيقة، عاطفية، مرغوبة، مخلوقاً رقيقاً يعطي السعادة وينالها إنه اعتراف وتقدير لرجولة زوجها هذه العقبات هي التي جعلت الشعراء والرسامين يخلدون النساء في لوحاتهم وأشعارهم
