ويعمد إلى فحص عدة طبائع مختلفة لبعض الشعراء، فى ضوء طائفة من الظواهر النفسية المستخلصة منها.
ويشارك -الكتاب- نقادنا دعوتهم متذوق النص الشعري - إلى تبني فكرتي "تأمل" الانفعالات الموارة بنفسه، و"رصد" طاقاته النفسية خلال تلقيه لهذا النص، من حيث بناؤه اللغوى، وإيقاعه الخارجي والداخلي.
