إن الحديث في هذا الكتاب عن (الأرض المقدرسة – بيت المقدس – أدنى الأرض - أم القرى – بكة – مكة ...) هو الأساس الذي تتمحور حوله أول بحوث المؤلف في: الجغرافيا العربية الإسلامية.
يقول المؤلف:" إن بيت المقدس هو أدنى الأرض الذي ينعدم فيه الشرق والغرب فهو (المركز) الذي تنسب إليه كل الاعتبارات في الحياة الإنسانية، سواء أكانت طبيعية (حياتية) أم اجتماعية. فأدنى الأرض ليس أخفضها وإنما هو أولها وأقلها انطلاقاً وأقلها بعداً وأصغرها مساحةً وأدناها مسافة إنه المكان الذي تجلى له رب العالمين لخلق الحياة في الأرض ومن ثم خلق آدم عليه السلام، وهو الجنة التي أسكنته فيها. وهذه من الحقائق التي تمكن كهنة بني اسرائيل – بما أخفوه من علم أهل الكتاب – من تغييبها عن ساحة تفكير المسلمين طوال القرون الماضية، الى أن أظهرها اتباع منهج القرآن في فهم القرآن.
وبذا فإن المؤلف يعتبر هذا الكتاب رسالة غير مباشرة إلى العلماء المختصين وإلى المؤرخين ليبادروا إلى شحذ أقلامهم من جديد لتدوين التاريخ البشري بدءاً من انطلاقة آدم عليه السلام من بيت المقدس وما يترتب على ذلك من نتائج تضمن استعادة ما اغتصب من الأرض العربية الإسلامية."
