يضم بين جنبيه نبذة وافية من مسائل فقه الأيمان والنذور، وفقه الصيد والذبائح والأضاحي والعقيقة، وفقه الحظر والإباحة. وقد اقتبس المؤلف هذه النبذة بشكل رئيس من كتاب جليل يعد من أسبق المتون في فقه المذهب الحنفي؛ هو «مختصر القدوري»، وقام بصياغة مادتها على شكل أسئلة وأجوبة كالاستفتاء؛ لتكون أوقع في نفس الطالب من قراءتها أو سماعِها مصوغة بطريقة أخرى، وليسهل عليه بذلك حفظها وضبطها والإجابة بها حين يسأل عنها؛ إضافة إلى أن المفتي يجد في هذه الهيئة ضالته المنشودة؛ فهي أسرع متناولاً له من المادة المتفرِّقة في بطون أمهات الكتب. كما قارن المؤلف أغلب المسائل مع المذاهب الأخرى، واستدل لبعض الأمور بأدلتها الشرعية المعتمدة بشكل غير موسّع.
