يخضع اليهود في سلوكهم وتعاملهم مع الآخر إلى مجموعة من القيم والقواعد والمبادئ الخاصة المستمدة من تراثهم الديني. ولا يمكن لنا أن نفهم الشخصية اليهودية، وكيفية التعامل معها، ما لم نطلع على تلك المجموعة من القيم والقواعد والمبادئ التي تشكل العقيدة اليهودية التي يتربى عليها اليهود. والمواثيق والعهود ما هي إلا جزء من تلك العقيدة التي تفرد فيها اليهود عن بقية البشر، وذلك التفرد منبعه النظرة العنصرية التي تقسم البشر إلى قسمين مختلفين في المكانة والتكوين، بحيث يسمو القسم الأول-اليهود-إلى مستوى الطبيعة الحيوانية البهيمية-وفق زعم اليهود-ووفق هذا التقسيم يستحيل إبرام أي اتفاق أو عهد بين طرفين مختلفين، طرف إنساني-اليهود-وطرف حيواني-غير اليهود-!!
فالنظرة العنصرية اليهودية للآخر هي التي حددت سلوكهم تجاهه، ولم تكن تلك النظرة سراً بالنسبة لديهم، بل أنهم يجاهرون فيها ويعتزون بها على أنها منهج حياة، وجزء من عقيدة صنعت لهم ماضيهم، ورسمت لهم مستقبلهم الذي يحلمون به، ويعملون على تحققه.
لذا جاءت هذه الدراسة لتكشف جانباً من هذه العقيدة، ولتوضح بعض الشيء منهجية اليهود في المواثيق والعهود من خلال فكرهم الديني وفكرهم السياسي المعاصر، ولتبين موقف الشريعة الإسلامية مما يجري من مفاوضات مع اليهود.
