تحت عنوان "أقسم أنه كان حباً ..." ترجم الدكتور ثائر زين الدين مختارات من شعر الشاعر الروسي "بولات أكودجافا" إلى اللغة العربية، وقدم للكتاب بمقدمة عن حياة الشاعر المهنية والأدبية. ولد الشاعر بولات شالغوفيتش أكودجافا سنة (1924) وتوفي سنة (1997) ، وكتب الشعر منذ طفولته، ولأنه كان عازفاً ومؤلفاً موسيقياً وذا صوت جميل فقد لحن ومنذ شبابه المبكر الكثير من قصائده وغناها وهو يعزف على الغيتار، وشاعت تلك القصائد - الأغنيات وأدّاها عدد من كبار المغنين.
واليوم تُسمع قصائد أكودجافا المغناة - في الأفلام السينمائية، والمسرحيات، ومحطات الراديو، كما أنه كتب قصصاً تاريخية وأخرى قدمت سيراً حياتية، ومنها سيناريوهات لعديد من الأفلام وصدرت له مجموعات شعرية وعديد من الإسطوانات في روسيا وخارجها.
ومن عالم أكودجافا الشعري نقرأ قصيدة بعنوان "صباح جديد" يقول فيها: "لا تنحن أيها الرأس / من النكبات، والخطأ العاثر / أمي، أيتها الحمامة البيضاء / إن صباحاً جديداً ينذر بالشروق / سيغسل كل شيء حتى النقاء / ويعيد ترتيب الأمور من جديد / فتسحب الوحدة / ويعود الحب ...".
يغلب على قصائد الشاعر الهم الإنساني العام، والحب العميق للمرأة والوطن وقد أعلن عن ذلك في أكثر من حوار أدبي معه "إن موضوعة قصائدي المغناة هي - الحب؛ منذ طويل - تقريباً - لم يغنوا عندنا عن الحب، وظلت المرأة في الآن نفسه وبالنسبة للكثيرين كائناً يبعث على الشك، وأنا انطلاقاً من احتجاجي على المراءاة والنفاق قررت أن أغني المرأة كائناً مقدساً ...". هكذا يوضح الشاعر موقفه المحب للمرأة، بالإضافة إلى تجسيده تجربة حياة فثي شعره من أدب شعبي وغيره "يلتقط الأشياء العادية اليومية البسيطة ويحوّلها إلى قصائد جميلة ذات موسيقا هارمونية عالية الإنسجام ...".
يضم الكتاب قصائداً نثرية مترجمة من اللغة الروسية إلى العربية جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "أغنية عن البالون الأزرق" ، "إلى اللقاء أيها الأولاد" ، "المنارات الزرقاء" ، "حافة منتصف الليل" ، "أغنية من إلهة كومسمولية" (...) وعناوين أخرى.
