إعداد أنطولوجيا لشعراء البصرة، ينطوي على خطورة كبيرة وشرك الوقوع في مثل هذه الانتقائية مقصودة، مثلما يضعنا إعدادها أمام الكثير من المشاكل والتعقيدات، تلك التي تبدأ من عقدة الشعور بأن البصرة هي حاضنة الشعراء، بأسواقها ومغامراتها ومدارسها، وأن هناك الكثير من الأسئلة تطرح عن الكيفية التي يمكن أن نختارها للدخول إلى هذه الحاضنة المفتوحة على غابة الشعراء، تلك الغامرة بروح التاريخ وفيوض الدهشة والغموض والسحر، ولا تنتهي عند تخليق مقاربات تضع هذه الأنطولوجيا في يساق يشرعن حيوية اختياراتنا غير الانتقائي، من خلال التعاطي مع تجارب شعرائها من الأجيال المختلفة والذين انطلقوا بأرواحهم العاري’، يرثون شفرات الماء والحرية والغواية، يتوهجون بأسرار الخيمياء الشعرية القديمة، مثلما يملكون رسا عميقاً من جينالوجيا اللغة تلك التي تركت على سحنات وجوههم خطوطاً من الشمس، إذ تبدة القصيدة البصرية وكأنها علامة فارقة في الجسد، وإشاراته، وألوانه، أو ربما هي المعنى العميق الباعث على التأويل والريبة، هو ليس ملقى على قارعة الطرق كما تصوره الجاحظ البصري، وإنما هو الكل الجمالي الذي يختزن بحيويته استعراض السوق الشعري، مثلما ينكشف على غواية المغامرة وشهوة التجريب واشتغالاته الواسعة، تلك التي وضعت هذا التجريب منطلقاً ومولداً لحيوية تحولات القصيدة العربية فيما بعد باتجاه مغامراتها الحادة.
