وفي الماضي كان هناك العديد من العادات، والتقاليد، والأعراف، والمظاهر لدى الأجيال السابقة، وأغلب هذه الجوانب إيجابية، ولها مدلولات اجتماعية، وتربوية، وتكافلية، واقتصادية، ومنها غير المناسب في وقتنا الحاضر لأسباب عدة، وعند سؤال أفراد الجيل الحاضر عنها نجد كثيرًا منهم لا يعرف هذه المفاهيم، والمصطلحات، ويستغربها، وقد يكون معذورا في ذلك، لعدم الحاجة لها، أو لعدم تداولها في وقتنا الحاضر.
