يحاول هذا العمل أو يسهم في الآخذ بيد الزملاء الذين يتصدون للعمل مع القيادات المحلية.. نصنع مستقبل أفضل، كما يحاول هذا العمل أن يربط ربطاً وثيقاً بين مفاهيم الخدمة الإجتماعية ومفاهيم العلوم الإجتماعية والإنسانية، في موضوع أساسي يمثل أهم التحديات في المجتمعات المعاصرة ألا وهو موضوع (التنمية) وذلك من منطلق أن التنمية هي الوسيلة والغاية لتحقيق طموحات المجتمع وأهدافه، وإذا كانت التنمية من ضرورات المجتمعات المعاصرة إلا أنها حتمية ومطلباً أساسياً بالنسبة للمجتمعات النامية، وسوف أحاول أن ألتزم بالرؤية الشمولية لإسهامات كافة العلوم الإنسانية والإجتماعية وخاصة بالنسبة للقضايا الأساسية، بالإضافة إلى محاولة إستخدام منهج الإستقراء انطلاقاً من المفاهيم الأساسية، ووصولاً إلى القضايا العامة، ومن ثم استخدام منهج الإستنباط، ومن واقع الممارسة والخبرة في مجالات التنمية المحلية سوف اهتم أيضاً بإلقاء الضوء على الإطار الثقافي الذي يحكم عمليات تنمية المجتمع المحلي، وذلك من منطلق أن الأطر الثقافية في المجتمع هي التي تحدد الأولويات والتفضيل لمشروعات على مشروعات او تقف أمام تنفيذ بعض المشروعات الأخرى... وكيف السبيل والزمن يلعب دوراً حاسماص في بعض مشروعات التنمية المحلية؟؟
