هكذا قيل دائمًا، ويقال اليوم وغدًا، ولا سيّما في لبنان حيث الزعامات الثقافيّة فوق النقد والمساءلة. وإنه لفجر جديد حين يفكّر القارىء بعقله هو، لا بعقول النقّاد وأساتذة الجامعات، فما في الجبّة غير الإنسان، وليس له ألّا يخطىء.
واستنادًا إلى هذه الحقيقة جعلنا، في هذا الجزء، الشاعر اللبناني تحت مجهر التحليل النفسي، غير عابئين بأقاويل من يعدّون هذا النوع من الدراسات النقديّة ضربًا من الشّتيمة. فالإنسان بكلّ قممه وأغواره هو المعوّل عليه، وكلّ بحث لا يتناول تلك القصبة المفكرة لا قيمة له.
دقائق كثيرة في هذا الكتاب غابت عن أذهان الكثيرين، وربما تصدم القارىء، ولكنها صدمة إيجابيّة لأن الحقائق المرّة هي التّي تشفي، وبقدر ما تهدم تبني أيضاً، وصولاً إلى مناخ ثقافي يكون فيه الفكر حراً من أيّ قيد، وعندئذٍ نستطيع استكمال عصر النهضة الحقيقي، إذ لا نهضة بغير العقل المتسائل.
