معظمنا يتعامل مع الجنس على أنه أداة تلقيح وماكينة إنجاب ومفرخة تناسل!!، وبرغم أن الجنس لقاء لا لقاح، فإننا مازلنا نغفل بديهيات هذا اللقاء وآدابه، وبرغم أن شعرنا العربي يؤكد على أنه كلام فسلام فلقاء، فإننا مازلنا ننكر الكلام والسلام واللقاء ونقتحم باب الجنس بدون استئذان أو تمهيد. اللقاء له إتيكيت إنساني، واللقاح له غريزة حيوانية، فنحن نفترق عن الحيوان أننا لا نملك مواعيد محددة للجماع أو ما يطلق عليه في علم الحيوان موسم التلاقح، وهي مواسم منضبطة جدًا يتجه فيها ذكور القطيع أوتوماتيكيًا إلى الإناث ويتم الجماع والسفاد والإخصاب.
اللقاء يعني مواجهة، في الجنس ننفرد ونتميز عن الحيوانات بأننا نرى ملامح بعضنا البعض أثناء الجنس، الرفيق يرى الفرحة ويراقب البهجة ويحس النشوة فتنتقل إليه كهرباء التفاعل الجنسي، ومن الممكن أن يلاحظ ألمًا وصدودًا وهجرانًا بل وتمثيلًا، فيفهم أنه راسب في اختبار الحب، وعليه أن يطور أدواته الإنسانية، ويعدل من مفاهيمه الجنسية، ويفهم أنه يلتقي ولا يلقح ويعي أنه يضع بذرة المحبة قبل أن يضع بذرة الإخصاب.
