الرحلة الأنورية إلى الأصقاع الحجازية والشامية سنة 1914م: هي رحلة أنور باشا إلى الشام والحجاز. و"الأنورية" في عنوان الكتاب، نسبة إلى أنور باشا، وهو وكيل القائد الأعظم وناظر الحربية العثمانية في زمن محمد كرد علي.
وفي الكتاب: يتتبع المؤلف رحلته من دار الخلافة بواسطة القطار الحديدي، ووصوله بوزانتي الواقغة في وسط جبال طوروس آخر يوم من شهر كانون الثاني/ يناير/ عام 1331هـ وكان يرافقه ركابه العالي بروانزر باشا رئيس أركان الحرب في نظارة الحربية والدكتور سليمان نعمان باشا رئيس الصحة العامة في الجيش، والجنرال بومباية قود سكي ملحق النمسا العسكري، وفون لوسوف ملحق المانيا العسكري وعلي بك من أعضاء شورى الدولة وعمر لطفي بك قائم مقام أركان حرب وغيرهم من الشخصيات السياسية والعسكرية ورجال الاستخبارات المحيطين بصاحب الدولة أنور باشا، ثم يعود ويتحدث المؤلف عن زيارته إلى دمشق، وحلب، وجبل لبنان، وبيروت، وفلسطين، وعمان، ومن هناك إلى المدينة المنورة، ثم عودته إلى دمشق.
هذا ويتضمن الكتاب أيضاً أقوال الصحف البيروتية والشعراء في قدوم بطل العثمانيين أنور باشا المعظم، وقصائد، وخطابات لسياسيين، وأدباء، ومثقفين ذلك العصر...
