يتضمن هذا الكتاب فصلين، يهتم الأول بـالوقوف على مجموعة القراءات التي تشكلت حول النص الصوفي/تائية ابن الفارض، محاولا تتبع المتصورات الجوهريّة لقراءة القراءة، بوصفه يشتغل على المتن النّقديّ العربي، وليس على النّص الصوفي/تائية ابن الفارض؛ وهي بهذه الصّيغة رصد للّدراسات العربية التي أفرغت جهودها في قضية إعادة قراءة الخطاب الصوفي، يتتبع خطواتها، ويتفحص مضامينها، ويصنّف اتجاهاتها، ويقوّم اشتغالاتها، ومن ثمّ فإنّ همّ الفصل الأول هو تقديم المشهد النّقديّ العربي المعاصر في تعامله مع الظّاهرة الصوفية ، حيث بدا لنا الالتفات إلى منجزات القراءة العربية لمراجعتها، ولتصحيح مسارها بتصويب ما علق بها من أخطاء أو شابها من انحرافات أهمّ بكثير من مواصلة إنجاز المكتسبات الجديدة والتّمادي في تحقيق التّراكم الكميّ وكذا ركز الفصل الأول على بيان واستكشاف طريقة تـوظيـف النص الفارض في كتـابـات النقاد المحدثين، وما آلت إليه نصوص الفارض بعد إعـادة توظيفـها في إبداعات هـؤلاء الدارسين
