ما من شكَّ في أنَّ دراسة نقديَّة متأنيَّة لتجربة شعريَّة عميقة متجذَّرة في تاريخ الفن، والشعر، كتجربة الشاعر اللبناني الكبير جوزف حرب لا تستنفدها دراسة نقديَّة متواضعة كهذه التي تقدمّها لقارئنا العربيّ؛ إذّ إنّ هذه التجربة تظل حقلاً خصباً وميداناً واسعاً للممارسة والتطبيق، نظراً إلى غناها بالمثيرات الفنية، والأساليب التصويريَّة المبتكرة التي تغري قارئها إلى الخوض في غمارها، وتفكيك شيفراتها ودلالاتها النصيّة المفتوحة كل حين.
وإننا في كتابنا الموسوم بــ [فتنة الخطاب الشعري عند جوزف حرب] سعينا جاهدين إلى إبراز مظاهر التميّز، ومثيرات الإبداع التي أضافت على تجربته خصوصية فنية وغنّى معرفيّاً، حتى استطاعت قصيدته أن تمدَّ جسورها إلى معظم القرَّاء في وطننا العربيّ الكبير على إختلاف مشاربهم، وإهتماماتهم الشعريَّة.
ولذا؛ كنت حريصاً كلَّ الحرص على تتبع مسار هذه التجربة بجزيئاتها ودقائقها الخفية؛ دراسةً وتحليلاً وتفصيلاً؛ ليتسنى للقارئ مستقبلاً فهم أبعادها، وحوض غمارها؛ لا أن يكون مجرّد متلقِّ ساذجٍ لها لا يمارس سلطته في تتبع منعرجاتها الفنية، واكتناه مظاهر جمالها، وخصوصيتها الشعريَّة المنفردة؛ إنَّ إيقاعاً، أو صورةً، أو مشهداً شعريّاً متكاملاً، أو لغةً شعريَّةً خصبة حافلة بقاموس شعري ضخم أو موسوعة شِعْرِيَّة شاملة.
