رحلت وما زالت حكاياك تسمع، وغبت وما زالت شموسك تسطع، فهل يورق القبر الذي جف ماؤه، وتعشب في الذكرى حكايا وأربع، وهل ضاق باب العيش وانسدّ دربه، فشدّك بيت في الدجى الأرض أوسع وما ترحاً يا سادن الصمت إنه بكاء على أيامنا ليس ينفع وهل يندب الأموات حياً بموتهم فأنت الذي يبكي علينا ويفجع لقد نمت عن ضوضائنا وتركتنا تدور الرحى من فوقنا وتجعجع... طرقت على باب الحياة فلم تجب فرحت لباب الموت بالموت تقرع وليس فراراً إنه الموت سيد، له كل حي في النهاية يخضع، ورحت وراء النوم والحلم والرؤى إلى عتمة من ملكة القبر تطلع فيا أيها الصبر الجميل بصمته، فلا دمعة هبت ولا اهتز إصبع لقد عشت قرناً قد حرثت فصوله سطور حدادٍ فيه تنأى وترجع، بتولاً فلم تنجب سواك لأننا كفيناك أنّا في التناسل نبدع". في هذه المجموعة الشعرية قصائد مأخوذة من مسرح الحياة، تحكي معاناة الإنسان في جميع حالاته، وفرحه في جميع لحظاته، والحالات التي تتناولها المجموعة تومئ ولا تقول، تشير دون أن تصرخ، وهذا ما يتيح لخيال القارئ إعادة تشكيل الصور واللحظات السعيدة والحزينة المبثوثة في سطور هذه القصائد، والتي من خلالها يمكن الدخول إلى عوالم الشاعر الغامضة وفضاءاته التي لا حدود تحدها.
