"من سواد الكوفة إلى البحرين" القرامطة من فكرة إلى دولة، هو كتاب يمثل محاولة الباحثة لقراءة تاريخ القرامطة والتعرف على تلك الحركة الاجتماعية والفكرية والسياسية المغمورة في المدونات التراثية. ومن أرض الحدث ومن الموقع الجغرافي لتلك الحركة تحاول الباحثة قراءة تاريخ هذه الفرقة دون تحيّز ودون خوف ودون استنتاجات مسبقة وتقول بأنها حاولت في قراءتها لتاريخ القرامطة الوصول إلى الأسباب التي أدت لخروج حركة اتهمت بالإلحاد، والإسلام لم يمض عليه سوى ثلاثة قرون! ومنذ ظهور هذه الفرقة وحتى القرن الخامس من الهجرة تصدت الأقلام للكتابة عنها، وسخرت خزائن المال والسلاح لمقاومتها ونصبت المشانق لكل أتباعها وقطعت سيوف الخلافة أطراف تابعيها وأحرقت مؤلفاتهم واحترقت معها أفكار العلماء والفلاسفة والشعراء وكل من اتهم بمجاراتهم أو الاقتراب منهم وتضيف الباحثة بأن بحثها عن القرامطة هو بحث عن كل ما أزيل من التاريخ الإسلامي أو وضع في إطار الاتهام لأنه فكر معارض ولأنه نظام بديل لما كان قائماً آنذاك. وأما عن كيفية البحث فتقول بان ذلك تطلب منها الانتقال من الكوفة إلى البحرين كما قادهما ذلك إلى البدايات الأولى أو المدخل الذي وجدت الباحثة فيه نفسها تعبر من خلاله إلى القرن الأول من الهجرة مبتدئة بيوم السقيفة متجاوزة (دون تعمد) الدخول في الدين أو الشريعة الإسلامية.
