يتحدث هذاالكتاب فى جزئين عن وجود الاجانب فى مصر والذى بدا منذ ولاته محمد على باشا الكبير حكم مصر واثر هؤلاء الاجانب من المجتمع المصرى وذلك بداية من سنة 1882 حتى سنة 1992 وقد كان لكل والى على مصر من احفاد محمد على نظرة خاصة للاجانب ومنهم من كان يكرههم ومنهم من كان يحبهم ولقد استغل الاجانب الديون الكبيرة التى استدانت بها مصر لهم فبدا ويتوافدون عليها من كل البلاد ويصبح لهم جاليات كبيرة فى مصر وقد تحكمت هذه الجاليات فى اغلب الاقتصاد المصرى الا انهم احضروا معهم خيرتهم الطويلة فى اغلب المجالات الاقتصادية والصناعية والادارية والتى كانوا يبرعون فيها وفى هذا الكتاب يشرح المؤلف التحديد القانونى والاجتماعى للاجانب فى مصر ووضعهم قبل الاحتلال البريطانى ووفى ظله والنشاط الاقتصادى للاجانب فى مصر ووضعهم قبل الاحتلال البريطانى ووفى ظله والنشاط الاقتصادى للاجانب فى مصر والاجانب ودورهم السياسى والاجتماعى فى المجتمع المصرى .
