في قصيدة من الشعر الصيني القديم المرأة الحالمة فلا تعلم إن كانت فراشة حلمت أنها مرأة، أم مرأة حلمت أنها فراشة. وهكذا تتماهى المرأة بالفراشة، فتغدون كائناً واحداً، بحلم مشترك.
بين الشعر وقصيدة وشيحة حلمية شبيهة بذلك أيضاً، حيث لا ندري هل أصبح الشعر نثراً أم النثر هوالذي حلم أنه صار في القصيدة شعراً؟ وهذا كان دافعي لاختيار عنوان الكتاب (حلم الفراشة) المخصص لقصيدة النثر، ولما يتصل بتقنياتها خاصة: إيقاعها الداخل البديل الموزن والموسيقى التقليدية والقافية، ولاشتغالها على (الأثر) الذي تخلقه القصيدة وتتركه في تلقي قارئها، وعلى كتابتها وهيئتها الخطية على الورق بديلاً للنزعة الغنائية القديمة التي أرى أن الإنشاد أبرز مظاهرها التي تسعى لإبعادها عن استقبال النصوص الشعرية كي لا تلخص أو تختزل في آنية زمنية أو لحظة انفعالية تمثلها عملية الإلقاء والتلقي الشفهيين، وأحسب أن هذه الموضوعات تتصل من قريب بالحكم على قصيدة النثر بالرفض والقبول في الذائقة الشعرية العربية.
