الملك فيصل الثاني آخر ملوك العراق: كتاب نقدمه للقارئ الكريم يتناول حياة الملك فيصل بن غازي منذ ولادته في 2 مايس 1935م حتى مصرعه يوم 14 تموز 1958. ونركز فيه على نشأة الملك فيصل الثاني، وفترة تربيته وإعداده بعد أن تولى العرش في سنّ الرابعة من عمره تحت وصاية خاله الأمير عبد الإله بن الملك علي الذي لعب دوراً بارزاً في تاريخ العراق السياسي.
ويفرد الكتاب وصفاً لأهمّ خصائص ومؤهلات الملك الفتي والعوامل التي أثرت فيها قبيل تتويجه عام 1953 ثم يبحث في فترة ممارسته صلاحياته الدستورية والممتدة بين (1953-1958) منتهياً بالوقوف عند التطورات التي أدت إلى مصرعه في صباح يوم 14 تموز 1958، والانطباع العام حوله.
كما يتطرق هذا الكتاب إلى نبذ مختصرة عن والده الملك غازي ثاني ملوك العراق، وجدّه الملك فيصل الأول مؤسس دولة العراق الحديث، وعن الملك الحسين بن علي ملك الحجاز وشريف مكة المكرمة، وجهادهم جميعاً في سبيل تركيز دعائم الوحدة العربية، ومحاربة الأتراك، ورفع الظلم عن الشعب العربي، ومطالبة الحلفاء الذين انتصروا في الحرب العالمية الأولى بالإيفاء بوعودهم التي قطعوها للعرب.
