ولد في نواحي بلدة عفيف - قرية من قرى عالية نجد - بالمملكة العربية السعودية نشأ في مدينة الطائف وبها تلقى تعليمه الإبتدائي والمتوسط والثانوي والجامعي باحث هاو في العلوم التاريخية والأنساب إضافة إلى العلوم الشرعية والأدبية بدأ بحوثه عن الأنساب بشكل جاد منذ عام 2004م وله مؤلفات في هذا العلم لم تطبع بعد

إن من أهم العلوم التي اهتمّ العرب بها منذ القدم، علم الانساب، فقد جعلوا لها حظّاً وافراً من إهتماماتهم، وذلك أن العرب يعتبرونها جزءاً من أحسابهم، ومنها يستمدّون عزّتهم، مع ما يكتسبونه هم بأنفسهم من جميل الأخلاق ونبيل الصفات، فالعربي إذا جمع بين شرف الأصل وشرف الفرع كان كمن حاز الدنيا بحذافيرها، وبما أن العرب قديماً، قوم مشركون، فقد كان إهتمامهم بالأنساب منصبّاً على ما يحصّل لهم، جميل الثناء ورفعة المنزلة.
ويتضمن هذا الكتاب دراسة وثائقية لأصول نسب قبيلة عتيبة وفروعها حين تطرق المؤلف في الباب الأول من الكتاب إلى سبب تسمية بني سعد بعتيبة وتحدث عن كل من اشتهر بإسم عتيبة، أما الباب الثاني فاختص بالحديث عن نسب قبيلة عتيبة، حيث تحدث الفصل الأول عن روايات رواة عتيبة من أنسابهم وضم الفصل الثاني النصوص الواردة في كتب التاريخ والأنساب عن نسب عتيبة.
وتضمن الفصل الثالث الأدلة عن نفي نسب بني سعد عن هوازن، وعنون الباب الثالث بحلف شبابة حيث تم الحديث في الفصل الأول عن حلف قبائل شبابة، والفصل الثاني عن نسب قبيلة شبابة، وفي الفصل الثالث علاقتهم ببني سعد، أما الباب الرابع والأخير فتم التطرف فيه إلى فروع قبيلة عتيبة، وختم المؤلف بخاتمة ودروس.
