منذ عدة سنوات ظهر تجمع اقتصادي دولي يسمى (تكتل دول البريكس) أو مجموعة "بريك" BRIC (التي تضم البرازيل، وروسيا، والهند، والصين) التي تحولت إلى "بريكس" بعد انضمام دولة جنوب أفريقيا. وأصبحت آلية مهمة لبناء نظام عالمي جديد، وإن مواقف الدول المشاركة فيها متطابقة حيال معظم القضايا الدولية التي من أهمها رفض النظام العالمي الحالي ذو القطب الواحد والعمل على الاستعداد لدخول العالم إلى نظام عالمي متعدد الأقطاب, حيث ستكون الوجه الاقتصادي للمشروع الأورآسيوي الاستراتيجي العالمي للدول الصاعدة ويُمكن لها التحكم بمجالاتها الحيوية سواء القارية أو الدولية، حيث إن دول منظمة بريكس تريد أن تأخذ على عاتقها مسألة تغيير هيكل الاقتصاد العالمي، لأن تأثيرها سوف ينمو، كما أنها تنتهج سياسة التكامل الاقتصادي، بدلاً من السير على نهج سياسة الإجماع التي تنتهجها واشنطن، وسنرى في هذا البحث اقتصاديات دول البريكس وتطورها والمعوقات الخارجية التي دفعتها للتحالف , وما هي الدوافع التي ضغطت لنشوء هذا التحالف وما هي محددات وأهداف كل دولة منها فيه والأهداف المشتركة لدول التكتل ورؤيتهم المشتركة للعالم سواء جيوسياسيا وجيواقتصاديا , تحرك هذا التكتل ضمن المشروع الأورآسيوي العالمي الذي يسوق ويسعى لفكرة (عالم متعدد الأقطاب)
