Book Description
"إيفان الفلسطيني" رواية تجسد غربة النفس وشتات الهوية ما بين سطورها تتلمس وجع الفلسطيني عندما يضطر للهجرة بعد اللجوء ثم يجبر على تغيير اسمه، عندئذ تتصارع تفاعلات الغربة والهوية والإنتماء.
"إيفان" و "عرب" وجهان إنسان فلسطيني واحد قسمته الغربة، يتحاوران في سرد ذاتي، بعد سنوات من إنكار للذات وللماضي معاً. "عرب" المولود في غربة مخيم فلسطيني، تقذف به الأحلام الكبيرة إلى غربة جديدة نحو مدينة "دورتموند" جنوب غربي ألمانيا، فيبدل اسمه إلى "إيفان"، هرباً من الذكرى.
وهنا أصبح إيفان يحاور في داخله عرب الشخص الطفولي الذي حمله معه إلى بلاد الغربة وراح يطارده بكل تفاصيل حياته السابقة وأحلامه بما فيها وكان أباه في المخيم ووعد أمه بتزويجه بإبنة خالته هنية إلى حلمه في التصوير الفوتوغرافي.
تتوالى الأحداث في الرواية وفيها يتعرض البطل لصدمات نفسية عنيفة فتنهمر الأسئلة في تشريح داخلي يطال الواقع الفلسطيني، وتاريخه، ويطرح أسئلة وجودية هامة عن معنى الوطن "كابوس إسمه الوطن، لطالما كان حلماً، رغبة مشتهاة (...) تلك هي المأساة، عندها يكون الصمت وطناً قد يصل إلى ذروة الإنفجار ...".
تنتهي الرواية بانتحاره في محاولة منه لقتل أسئلته وقتل غربته عن نفسه وعن إسمه، وعن أحلامه، هي فكرة ابتدعها "في قتل النفس دفاعاً عن النفس ... لا خيار آخر. أما حياة كاملة بكل تفاصيلها أو موت شامل (...) سأتحول إلى شهيد نفسه، شهيد اسمه (...) سيكتب على شاهد قبري: سقط شهيداً في سبيل اسمه".
