هذا الكتاب يتناول تاريخ نقابة السينمائيين في مصر، ويتتبع أول تجمع للفنانين في مصر، وهو تجمع المسرحيين عام 1912، وتأسيس جمعية أنصار التمثيل عام 1913 حتى تأسيس نقابة ممثلي المسرح والسينما في نوفمبر 1943، وتأسيس نقابة الصحفيين بعد أسبوعين من تأسيس هذه النقابة.
كما يتناول الكتاب دراسة خاصة لحدث مهم في تاريخ الحياة الفنية في مصر، وهو اضراب الفنانين ضد القانون رقم 103، ويتتبع هذ هذا الكتاب يتناول تاريخ نقابة السينمائيين في مصر، ويتتبع أول تجمع للفنانين في مصر، وهو تجمع المسرحيين عام 1912، وتأسيس جمعية أنصار التمثيل عام 1913 حتى تأسيس نقابة ممثلي المسرح والسينما في نوفمبر 1943، وتأسيس نقابة الصحفيين بعد أسبوعين من تأسيس هذه النقابة.
