سيرة كل من الصحابي الجليل جعفر ، والملك العادل النجاشي ، وينقل نص الكلمة التي يبين فيها جعفر أمام النجاشي بإيجاز وبلاغة دين الإسلام وأخلاق المسلم ، جديد فرق الرحام وسفه الأصنام . ثم يتناول في قصائد على نظام الشعر العربي الأصيل ، مشاهد الحوار البناء الصادق ، التي تبين أن رماح الإكراه القشية تتكسر أمام دروع الحق ، وزرد الإجبار القطنية تتقطع ببأس نصال الثبات ، وسيوف الغطرسة الثلجية تذوب بوهج الإيمان ، وسراب الاتهامات المزورة يبدو مخزيا أمام حقيقة الحجة والعقل واليقين عن طريق الحوار ، طريق الحياة المقنع. ويوضح أن توغل اليقين في قلوب ( بلال وعمار وخباب ) وأصحابهم ، لم يدخل بالإكراه ، وإنما تشربوه بالحجة والإقناع ، وقد زادهم جبروت من أكرهوهم ، ونتن حجة من عذبوهم بصلف الباطل وكبرياء الإشراك والعناد ، زادهم إيمانا لا يتزحزح عن الحق والصدق والفضيلة ، ويرى سعادتهم في إسعاد غيرهم وإحياء أنفسهم . ويتجلى ذلك في حوار جعفر وحجته وعقلية النجاشي الذي يرفض نفاق بطارقته ، وغطرسة مشركي قريش ، ويؤمن بالحق ويحمي دعوته.
