في ديوانه «شريط صامت» (المدى ـــ بغداد)، وهو الخامس له، يسعى عبد الزهرة زكي (1955) إلى تأريخ وقائع ومشهديات حياتية ليس من عادتها أن تفسح مجالاً كافياً لتأملات الشعر وبطء الاستعارات. إنها «نصوص عن السيارات والرصاص والدم»، بحسب العنوان الفرعي للديوان الذي يكاد يكون ترجمة طبق الأصل لما يحويه من «إجابات شعرية عن أسئلة الموت اليومي، حيث يُصاغ المشهد الشعري بالقرب من الأسلحة وعيون القتلة»، بحسب شهادة الروائي والباحث قاسم محمد عباس على الغلاف. إيحاءت مماثلة تَعِدُنا بكتابة ساخنة ومباشرة عن أحداث أكثر سخونة. كأنّ الشاعر العراقي يستأذن ذائقتنا في التخفّف من شعرية قصوى، لمصلحة معاينة الآلام التي تنبعث من قتلى التفجيرات الجوّالة ومخطوفي الجماعات الإرهابية، وضحايا الاحتلال الأميركي. يتحول الشعر إلى معجم إسعافي لتأويل مفردات الفقدان والرعب والدمار، بينما يصبح البقاء على قيد الحياة نجاةً قصيرة أو تأجيلاً لموت محتوم: «لن يلحقَ بالسيارة التي أمامه/ السيارةُ التي في الخلف لن تلحق به/ والثالثة التي اجتازتهُ لم تنفجر/ ثمة متسعٌ للحياة». ما نقرأه أقل سرعةً من تقنية الخبر العاجل، وأكثر عناية بالمشهد من انتهاك الكاميرات التلفزيونية لجثث القتلى، لكنّه يظلّ أقلّ جودة من الشعر المكتوب من دون إيعازات مباشرة وضاغطة.
